Gast-Design für danipeuss' April Kit, Teil 2

Ich habe zwar mit dem Scrapbooking-Kit (ausverkauft) gespielt, das heißt aber nicht, dass man keine Karten damit machen darf (;

Ich habe sie deshalb auch auf den kleinen Bannern benutzt (;

Es gibt einige Designelemente, die sich auf dem ganzen Layout wiederholen: zuerst die Quadrate (auch fortgesetzt durch die gestickten Linien), die Hashtags, die kleinen Banner und der Kreis in verschiedenen Variationen - auf den Fotos, auf dem Patterned Paper, ein Sticker (DIE sind übrigens toll, da gibt's ein ganzes Blöckchen im Kit!) gestempelt & gestanzt und gestickt. Ich mag diese Wiederholung. (;

So, das war also mein Layout. Die anderen Projekte stelle ich Euch die nächsten Tage vor! Schnappt Euch das Kit, solange es noch zu haben ist!!! Hier im Shop!

HELLO...I'm back... "12 in '15 challenge" - 4 generations layout

In case you're not on Instagram and you've been wondering if I fell off the earth...nope, I just gave birth to our first child end of September & time was spent in other ways...(;

We reached 3 months just recently and I have the feeling little gaps of time appear here and there giving me time to create little things. And I HAVE MISSED being crafty SO MUCH!!!

So here we go - here's a tiny 6x6 layout I made for January's "12 in '15 challenge" - prompt: Pantone color of the year MARSALA.
That was indeed a bit challenging...I don't own neither an inkpad nor paper in this color...
So I mixed a red & a brown ink on the stamp and decided that it looks like Marsala...
The double heart was made by using the two hearts from the two STROMSVIGT stampsets "Classic you" & "Nea Alpha".
Hearts punched with my stampin up punch from a Christmas envelope - hahaaa!

"happy" stamp is from Kal Barteski for Studio Calico called "Happy something".
The other words were stamped with the roller stamps from Pebbles & Studio Calico.
Ok, that's it from me today - hope to see you soon! (;

Favorite Scrapper Blog Hop

A bit more than a week ago I've been tagged by my sweet friend Beshka for the "Favorite Scrapper Blog Hop"! I feel honored & THANKS SO MUCH BESHKA for what you wrote about me!!!

So this week it is my turn to answer a few questions about me.
HERE WE GO:
1. What am I working on right now?
Actually, besides preparing to be a mom veeeery soon & preparing a move just shortly after birth already takes quite a large amount of time... but yesterday I managed to start making the Baby Announcements... at least what can be prepared without actual informations about the lil one. And I have to say: I JUST LOVE LETTERPRESSING!!!!

2. How long does it take me to create a project?
Honestly, that really depends... With the "12 in 14 challenge" projects i was quite fast most of the time, because I had the prompt swirling in my mind the whole month in advance & once I had the idea - the layout came together quite fast.
On the contrary cards can take me forever... haha... or not... really depends on mood & inspo.

3. What are my favorite things to create with at the moment?
I cannot live without LABELS! Honestly! And mostly the Studio Calico ones I can printncut with my beloved Silhouette Cameo!
And I LOVE stamping!

4. How does my creating process work? & 5. How do I become and stay inspired?
Hm,... I do need to have an idea in mind... but I am no "scrap lifter"...
Sometimes I go through the hashtags #scrapbooking (honestly not THAT inspiring), #studiocalico (much better!) or #projectlife on instagram or browse the DT gallery on the SC website to get in the flow... but as I said: no scraplifting from this gal...
Then the picture is my starter - i choose paper that coordinates and then... let it flow...

6. What is my signature style?
I think I can really say I am no messy scrapper (though through being part of the STROMSTIGT-DT & the "12 in '14 challenge I've tried some new techniques this year that were definitely messier than my comfort techniques.)
I like my pages organized or following a (invisible) grid.
I'd say my style is rather clean & graphic, but not minimal.

AND NOW - may I invite you to hop over to the following three favorite scrappers of mine?

First up is Marit, a fellow German scrapper. She has a lovely light style! She crafts adorable mini-albums & layouts. And if that wouldn't be enough she creates wonderful quilts (oh, how I'd LOVE to own one!!!) and cooks & bakes yummy things, too!
Marit

Next is my STROMSVIGT-DT colleague Magdalena:
She has a very creative/graphic style in her layouts & PL - and I've got a feeling she's a scrapbooking-layout-producing-machine!!! (-;

Magdalena

Last but surely not least: Aimee.
One can see that I have a faible for graphic scrappers - Aimee is another one - and she also is a graphic designer like I am - wohooo - hey colleague! Her layouts are so so lovely - and can you imagine she started scrapbooking not that long ago?!
Aimee

OK, THAT'S IT FROM ME FOR TODAY!
Hop over to these ladies fabulous blogs today and maybe also next monday when they continue the "Favorite Scrapper Blog Hop"!

See ya!!!!

STROMSVIGT DT - September "12 in '14 challenge"

Hello ladies!

Or are there any gents out there reading my blog?

Of course, my lovely husband! (;

Anyone else?

Ok, back to the theme...

This month Nina challenged us to go minimalistic...

hahaaaa,... many of you know that I'm a graphic designer and those need to work minimalistic at times,...BUT... scrapbooking is my hobby & I free myself as much as I can!

And HELLOOOOO? I have so much gorgeous stuff...

So this is as minimalistic as i could get for this layout:

matted pictures, Project Life cards, stamps, alphas in a restricted color scheme. I LOVE it!

First step was finding the perfect PL cards for the layout from Liz Tamanaha's "Midnight" kit and positioning them on the page.

Then I added the matted pictures.

...the stamped Studio Calico label,...

...the Amy Tangerine & American Crafts alphas...

... more STROMSVIGT stamps... & a tiny camera from a recent SC stampset that I won.

...as well as this gorgeous handwritten "SELFIE" stamp designed by my sweet friend Laura aka "lorabailora" (;

I hope you like it? Maybe i can encourage you to create a minimalistic project? If yes, hop over to Nina's blog to enter it to win something!
And to Magdalena for her take

That's it for now...

Bye lovelies!
