Inspired by Karla Dudley!

This blog post is dedicated to Karla Dudley who inspired me to start bookbinding which I've wanted to do for a long time, but now found the time to do so.
It's my first attempt - and I am really proud how it turned out!!! (;
This GREEN (of course) little book of mine will be my next calender/diary - i started to fill it already!

What a great thing to start a day like that!!!

Isn't it great to start a day with a lovely cup of coffee in a sweet Starbucks-mug - companied by a jummy Starbucks Cinnamon Roll that I could take home after work yesterday, because they can be sold only one day!? (BUT THEY ARE STILL JUMMY!)

New record - only 3 days since my last entry!

But I have to show you something!!!
Here is my new earring-hanger!
Made in about an hour - my own idea made after something my sister told me what she had seen in a small jewellery in Como/Italy.

The journaling can be translated as follows:
D like decoration & h like hanger (for long hanging earrings)

Made from a piece of cardstock-covered-foam-board, cut an window in it, metal thread to hang the earrings and a piece of paper to cover it nicely! (;
I'm quite proud! (;

A birthday card for my sister-in-law’s 40th birthday!
(if you’re wondering the text is decrypted in ROT13 - we’re Geocachers!)
card made from printed cardstock, corners rounded with a punch, backside stamped and handwritten

That’s my little update for today - still have some more projects to share, but in the future i’ll try to update on a more regular basis...

Ich habe gestern mein Gestaltungsmanual der Druckerei Burger auf den ftp-Server hochgeladen!
Schritt 1 von 3 ist also für mich erledigt! (;

Habe mir gestern einen ruhigen Abend gegönnt und ganz in Ruhe ein leckeres Essen für uns beide gekocht - ich freu mich so, wenn ich dafür wieder mehr Zeit hab!
Die MWs haben mir auf dem Heimweg noch die digitale Spiegelreflex von Hans vorbeigebracht. Die brauche ich für das "Fotoshooting" mit Jo.
Heute deswegen mit ihm telefoniert - wir treffen uns morgen um 11Uhr. (;
Das Zubehör für's Foto hol ich heut Abend bei einem Freund von Abir.

Bin ja mal gespannt wie das wird - das Wetter scheint gut zu sein!
Vielleichtich poste ich ja ein Foto...

So - und damit der Blog auch zu Recht Scrapbooking im Titel trägt, hier ein Foto von einem Keilrahmen, den ich für meinen Schatz zum Geburtstag gemacht habe. Das sind alles Fotos, die wir beim Geocaching gemacht haben! (;
